Armed police backed up by dog units are dealing with an incident in Peterborough City Centre this afternoon, Monday February 27.

Officers were called to a property in Church Walk at around 1pm this afternoon.

Police received reports of a man with a knife in the Church Walk and Park Road area.

Police have not yet located the man but are continuing to search the area and speak to eyewitnesses, a police spokesman said.
