Rikki Neave’s mother Ruth and her partner Gary Rogers have been giving their reaction to today’s news that a Peterborough man has been arrested on suspicion of Rikki’s murder in 1994.
Having relaunched the murder investigation in June last year, a man in his 30s was arrested this morning, Tuesday April 19.
Ruth Neave and Gary Rogers gave their reaction at a press conference held in March this morning.
Mr Rogers told the BBC: “Both me and Ruth want to thank Cambridgeshire Police lead investigators. Our reaction this morning was total shock. We didn’t know this was coming. This has come straight out of the blue for us.”
