Police have identified two men they want to speak to in connection with a theft from a shop in Peterborough last week following a CCTV appeal.

Officers had released CCTV images of two men they wanted to trace after the incident at The Pasta Shop in Queens Walk, Fletton, which happened at about 9am on Wednesday, January 20.

Two men entered the shop and opened the till before leaving with £150 in cash.

A tweet from the @PboroCops official police account today (Saturday, January 30) read: “Thank you to everyone who shared our CCTV appeal yesterday in relation to The Pasta Shop theft - now identified the two men.”

At the time of going to press it wasn’t known if the two identified men had been arrested.
