UPDATE: False information leads to armed police being called out to Peterborough 'brawl'
Armed police attended reports of a fight in Peterborough this morning after they were told a knife was involved.
Police initially reported, through the Peterborough Telegraph, that an arrest had been made following the incident at just after 8am in Henshaw, Parnwell.
Officers have now clarified that no arrests were made, and there was in fact no fight, no assault, no injuries and that the person that had reported it gave police false details.
The person who made the false report has not been able to be traced as no name or number was left.
