A drink driver caught at nearly three times the limit has been banned from driving for two years.

Laisvis Butkus (28) of Dogsthorpe Road was seen swerving in the road in Broadway, Peterborough on November 14. He gave a reading of 95mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when arrested. He pleaded guilty to drink driving at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, and was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 costs, a £60 victim surcharge and criminal court costs of £150 alongside the two year driving ban.
