Two in custody after man suffers serious head injury

Two people are in custody after a man suffered a serious head injury in Spalding.

The man was found injured in Cedar Court after officers attended the scene at just after 7.20am on Wednesday.

Lincolnshire Police said: “While it is unclear how this man received his injuries, we believe he may have been assaulted.

“We are still trying to identify the injured man.

“One man, aged 43, and two women aged 40 and 18, have been arrested in connection with this. Two remain in custody and will be dealt with in due course.

“The 18-year-old has been released without any further action. Investigations are ongoing.”
