Two arrested after city centre fight

Two men were arrested after a fight in Peterborough city centre.

Words were exchanged then punches thrown near Ladbrokes bookmakers in Bridge Street at about 5.15pm on Wednesday December 3.

One man punched the other, causing him to fall to the ground where he was punched and kicked.

No one was seriously injured in the fight.

Two men, aged 24 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of affray and released on bail, the former to return on December 20 and the latter on December 15.

One arrest was made shortly after the fight while the second came the day after.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
