Three people arrested in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Peterborough have been released without charge.
A 33-year-old man, a 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, all from Peterborough were all arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following reports of violence at a property in Palmerstone Road, Woodston on Tuesday, May 3.
A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries in the incident.
The three were all given bail by police, and they returned to Thorpe Wood Police Station today.
A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said they had all been released with no further action taken against them.
A 42-year-old man from Peterborough, also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident, is due to answer bail this afternoon.
