Three arrested after mass brawl in Peterborough street

Monday 1.45pm: Three men have been arrested after a mass brawl in Gladstone Street, Peterborough on Friday (December 12).

The fight, involving about 20 people, started at about 1.30pm, shortly after Friday prayers had finished at a Mosque on the street.

A police spokesman said two people had needed hospital treatment for minor injuries after the fight, although a number of people were hurt.

A 27-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 29 year-old man, all from Peterborough have been arrested by police on supicion of affray in connection with the incident.

They have been given bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on January 26 next year.
