Three arrested after ‘gang fight’ at Peterborough’s Werrington Centre

Three people have been arrested after a “gang fight” at the Werrington Centre in Peterborough.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said the force was called at about 5.20pm yesterday (Sunday, September 23) to reports of violence involving a group of people in Staniland Way, Werrington.

It is believed a man was injured, but he has not been traced.

An 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys from Peterborough have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Andy Simmonds, who is the landlord of The Ploughman which is based at the centre, said the incident involved a gang fight.
