Police were called at 2.01am on Saturday, October 6, to reports of violence outside the Solstice, Northminster Road, Peterborough.

A man was arrested on suspicion of GBH but no further action will be taken in relation to this offence.

However, the man, in his 40s, was further arrested while in custody as he was wanted by police in Romania for a public order offence.

The man was handed over to Westminster Magistrates' Court and will be dealt with by officials liaising with the Romaian authorities. It is likely he will be deported.

An ambulance was called, but the victim declined medical treatment.
