Teenage girl is victim of sex assault in Peterborough park

A man exposed himself to a teenage girl as she walked her dog in a Peterborough park.

The man, who was riding a mountain bike, spoke to the youngster before exposing himself.

The incident happened in a park off Heather Avenue, in Dogsthorpe, between 1pm and 2pm on October 28.

Now police are appealing for anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them immediately.

The man is described as white, 30 to 45, about 5’6’’ tall, heavily built with thick dark greasy hair. He had grey-flecked stubble and was wearing a ribbed jumper and combat trousers.

PC Tina Walsh said: “I would urge anyone who saw this man in the area at the time of the incident, or who recognises the description, to call police.”
