Teenage girl assaulted in 'terrifying' attack in broad daylight in Peterborough

A 17-year-old girl was assaulted in a 'terrifying' broad daylight attack as she walked home through Peterborough.

The victim was walking along a pathway between Engaine and Bringhurst in Orton Malborne at around 12.50pm on Saturday, June 18, when she was assaulted by a man and suffered minor injuries.

The offender is described as white, between 5’5” to 5’11” and wearing a red and white jacket.

DC Mark Clapham said: “This incident terrified the victim and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time to get in contact.”
