Teen arrested after assault at former Peterborough pub leaves man in hospital

A teenager has been arrested after an assault at a former city pub left a man in hospital.

Police were at the former Cherry Tree pub in Oundle Road, Woodston, this lunchtime after officers were called at 9.26am to an assault.

Following the incident a man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A man in his late teens has been arrested in connection with the offence and taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station.
