Suspected Class A drug dealers arrested in Peterborough after 'constant stream of people' seen leaving flats

Police arrested two men on suspicion of Class A drug dealing after spotting a "constant stream of people" coming from a block of flats in Peterborough.

Police made the arrests last Thursday after a CCTV operator for Peterborough City Council alerted the force's Community Action Team to people regularly leaving flats in Eastgate.

Officers attended the scene and arrested two men, one of whom is alleged to have had crack cocaine and heroin hidden in his backside.

A 21-year-old from London was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and a 20-year-old of no fixed abode was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs

Both were remanded to appear in court.
