Solar panels stolen from Sutton St James field

Dozens of solar panels were stolen from a field in Sutton St James.

Thieves stole 66 panels, along with the electricals and converters associated with them, from the field in White Cross, in Sutton St James, between 5pm on Saturday March 14 and 7.30am on Monday morning.

Owners of solar panels like the ones stolen are advised to keep gates securely locked to limit vehicular access to fields, check your sites regularly and consider other options such as security lighting and CCTV.
