Solar panels stolen from Fenland field

Police are appealing for witnesses after about 180 solar panels were stolen from a field in Newton.

The theft took place between 8pm on April 13 and 7.15am on April 14 in High Road.

PC Carl Stoppard said: “A large vehicle would have been required to move the panels and it’s likely it would have taken a few hours to remove them.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and noticed anything suspicious to contact police.”
