Seven arrested after cannabis factory found in house near Peterborough

Seven people have been arrested after a cannabis factory was discovered in a house near Peterborough.

Officers from Lincolnshire police raided the home in North End, Gedney Hill yesterday (Monday) where they discovered the drugs operation.

A large police presence was seen at the property yesterday morning, with sniffer dogs and scenes of crime officers all spotted at the scene.

A spokesman for the force said: "Our officers carried out a search of the property in North End on Monday 25th January.

"Around 360 plants were discovered. Seven people were arrested in connection with the production of cannabis and supply, four men aged 53, 48, 24 and 23, and three women aged 51, 24 and 23. They have all been released under investigation. They were all from the local area.

"Our investigations are ongoing."
