Police warning after rise in vehicle thefts in Oundle Road, Peterborough

The Peterborough police Twitter account tweeted: “Oundle Road Peterborough - be aware of the increased level of theft from motor vehicles over the last 7 days. Please ensure items are not left on display in your vehicle and your vehicles are locked and secured. #PreventCrime #2284.”

Hide AdA spokesman said: “There have been eight thefts in total along the Oundle Road corridor. Incidents range from insecure vehicles being entered and bags being stolen, including gloves boxes being rummaged through, to a couple of break-ins.”
