Police searching for missing woman find body in Stamford
Police officers looking for a missing Lincolnshire woman have found a body in Stamford.
Yesterday (Thursday 6 July) police issued an appeal to locate 53-year-old Joanne Lewis after concerns were raised for her welfare.
Later that afternoon officers discovered a body in the River Welland in Stamford.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but the body is believed to be that of Joanne Lewis.
