Police linking spate of thefts in Yaxley

A spate of thefts, all thought to be linked, have taken place in Yaxley.

Between 4pm on Wednesday May 25 and 8am on Thursday May 26, two buildings were targeted on Main Street and Park Close.

It is believed that two men, one described as being tall and thin and the other described as shorter and wearing a hat, gained entry into a building site on Park Close before taking £300 worth of equipment.

It is believed that the same men also attempted but failed to gain entry into a workshop in Main Street.

At a similar time, between 2am and 2.30am on Thursday morning (May 26), a silver Bentley was broken into on Vicarage Way and a pair of sunglasses worth an estimate of £200 were stolen.
