Police investigate after woman’s body found at remote road near Peterborough
Police have closed a road near Peterborough and are carrying out an investigation after the discovery of a woman’s body.
Speechley Drove, near Newborough was closed this afternoon (January 3) and a number of police vehicles have been at the scene.
A police spokeswoman told the Peterborough Telegraph: “The body of a woman has been found and the death is at this stage unexplained.
“Further investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of death.”
The Peterborough Telegraph understands that this incident is not related to the ongoing search for missing Bernadette Walker.
