Cambridgeshire police were called at 4.45pm to Crabtree.
A force spokeswoman said: “It was reported that a man in his 30s received minor injuries after being assaulted by another man, who was known to him, inside a residential address.
“The suspect left the scene following the incident and no arrests have been made.
“Enquiries continue.”
