Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was the victim of a “cowardly robbery” on Wednesday (March 2).
The woman, who is in her 20s, was walking towards the traffic lights, near St Neots railway station, on Hawkesden Road, at about 7.30am, when she was pushed from behind and fell to the floor.
The offender then ran off with her white handbag.
He was described as 5’9” and wearing a navy hooded top and jeans.
Detective Sergeant Amanda Foreman said: “This was a cowardly attack. We are looking to identify the man responsible and would urge any witnesses to come forward.”
