Peterborough woman charged with carrying knife

A Peterborough woman has been charged with carrying a knife on Easter Monday.

Maxine Thomson (45) was arrested on Monday afternoon by police at about 8pm in Paston Ridings.

Thomson, of Paston Ridings, Peterborough, has since been charged with possessing a knife in a public place.

She has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on May 21.
