Two Peterborough teenagers have appeared in court charged with attempted robbery

The 13-year-old and the 15-year-old boys appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (May 9).

The boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were remanded into custody at the hearing. They did not enter a plea. They will appear at Huntingdon Youth Court on Wednesday.

The incident is said to have happened at about 1.10am on Wednesday last week at the junction of Saxon Road and Durham Road. A police spokesman said they were called to reports a 50-year-old man had been stabbed.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said the man suffered ‘minor injuries’ in the incident.
