A man has appeared in court charged with an alleged stabbing which occurred in Bretton, Peterborough.
Hayden Snart (19) of no fixed abode, appeared in the dock at Peterborough Crown Court in connection with the incident which is said to have happened near the Fayre Spot pub in Bretton on February 28.
Snart pleaded not guilty to a charge of wounding with intent at the short hearing. A trial is set to take place at Peterborough Crown Court starting on August 24.
Snart was remanded into custody by Judge Sean Enright ahead of the trial.
Friends and family of the defendant were in court for the hearing, and one shouted ‘Hayden I love you’ as he was taken away to the cells.
