An 18-year-old youth is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering stab wounds in an incident in Peterborough.
The incident happened in Hampton Hargate at 9.50pm on Saturday.
The teenager from Peterborough suffered multiple stab wounds to his lower abdomen and was taken by ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital.
He has since been transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and remains in a serious condition.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 10.37pm
“An ambulance and the Magpas emergency car was sent to the incident.
“A male had suffered a serious abdominal injury. He was stabilised at the scene and taken to Peterborough City Hospital.”
A 34-year-old woman from Peterborough has been charged with causing GBH with intent and released on bail to return to Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on December 31.
A 16-year-old girl has been charged with possessing a knife in a public place and bailed to return to Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on December 31.
