Peterborough shop staff threatened at knife-point during armed robbery

A man threatened Peterborough shop staff with a knife before escaping with £100 in cash last night.

Police were called yesterday, Sunday February 26, to reports of a robbery in Paston, Peterborough.

The incident happened at Tesco Express in Chadburn at about 8pm. A man entered the shop and threatened staff with a knife, before leaving with about £100 in cash.

The suspect is described as a black man aged 21-40, about 5’10” and of a slim build. Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
