Peterborough police officer's trial to start today
A Peterborough Police Officer is due to stand trial at court today (Monday) charged with one count of harassment and one count of common assault.
Sergeant Spencer Evans, 40, based at Bridge Street Police Station, is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court.
He is currently suspended from duty.
