A Peterborough PCSO standing trial for theft and fraud has had all charges against her dropped.

Amanda Butler, (46), of Turnstone Way, Stanground, Peterborough, who is based at Hampton Police Station, was alleged to have committed the offences between October 2010 and April 2012.

However, on Friday (June 26) she had the three theft counts dismissed by a judge at Luton Crown Court and the fraud count was withdrawn by the prosecution.

Ms Butler, who was suspended by the force on October 18, 2013, will now be subject to further disciplinary proceedings.
