But he was caught after passers by heard the youth’s shout ‘he’s got a knife.’
On Friday he was jailed for one year at Peterborough Crown Court, after pleading guilty to possession of a bladed article at a previous hearing.

Miss Davies said Hall had 93 previous convictions, including one for possession of a knife, which he received a six month jail term for in 2012.
Kevin Barry, defending, said: “The defendant has issues with alcohol abuse and mental health.
“He accepts he should not have taken the knife with him. He was feeling paranoid at the time, but admits this is no excuse.
“He says that the youths provoked him, and they had been teasing him.
“This is not a man without hope.”
Mr Barry said Hall had drank a bittle of brandy and two cans of lager before heading out that evening.
Judge Tina Landale, sentencing, said: “You went out to get fish and chips, but chose to take a knife with you.
