Peterborough man charged with child sex offences
A man from Peterborough has been charged with sex offences against children, possession of drugs and other offences.
Macauley Johnson (25) of Deaconscroft in Westwood was arrested in Cambridge on Thursday evening in connection with multiple offences in Peterborough.
He has since been charged with sexual communication with a child, possession of cannabis, sexual activity with a girl under 13, assault by beating, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a metal chair leg, and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause distress.
He appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (19 September) where he was remanded in custody for a plea hearing on 25 September.
