Peterborough man charged with assault after ‘road rage’ incident with metal bat
A man has been charged in connection with the assault of a man and woman in Peterborough on Saturday afternoon (11 July) following a reported ‘road rage’ incident in Walton.
Thomas Lambie, 37, of Windsor Avenue, Walton, was arrested just before 2pm and has since been charged with two counts of assault by beating and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a metal bat.
He has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 20 August.
