Peterborough man charged after numerous thefts from vehicles across city

A Peterborough man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of thefts from vehicles across the city.

Paul Priestley, 37, was arrested yesterday, Tuesday June 14, after being spotted and recognised as wanted by an Impact Team officer who duly arrested him.

When arrested Priestley admitted to numerous offences across the city.

He was later charged and remanded for court today, Wednesday June 15.

The suspect targeted vehicles that had been left insecure or with items of value clearly on display.

Peterborough police are urging vehicle owners to please check their vehicles are left secure, closing all windows before leaving their vehicle and ensuring all items of value are removed from display.
