A Peterborough man is in custody after police found a quantity of class A drugs, cash and phones during a routine stop and search

The drugs, mobile phone and cash seized by police

At about 2pm today, Wednesday September 12, officers were patrol in the Dogsthorpe Road area of Peterborough when they noticed a man acting suspiciously in Burrows Court.

A 32-year-old man from Peterborough was searched and arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

A quantity of wraps, resin, cash and phones were seized.

He remains in custody
