Peterborough fire which destroyed car, van and caravan confirmed as arson
Fire crews were called to Cobbet Place, Eastfield at 1.45pm on Friday.
Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a car, a van and a caravan. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 3.30pm.
A large plume of black smoke was seen above the city.
Today Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire had been started deliberately.
