Peterborough armed police swoop after man found stabbed on city street

Armed police were called to Fengate at about 10.30am this morning after reports the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with ‘multiple stab wounds.’

Police are still at the scene as the investigation continues.

A police spokesman said they had been called by the ambulance service.

The air ambulance landed in the Greyhound Stadium car park to give treatment at the scene.

There is no further information about the man’s condition.
