A new Neighbourhood Watch scheme has been set up on an estate in Peterborough.
Householders in the Hampton Gardens estate have had enough of their cars being attacked, flying tipping and burglary.
Amy Trew the newly appointed area coordinator for the estate said: “Having a Neighbourhood Watch in the area has made us feel safer in our homes as well as getting to know new people and make friendships.
“It has reunited residents and increased awareness of crime in the area.”
Toni Cray, Chair of Neighbourhood Watch Peterborough, said: “ This is working well across Peterborough now. Neighbours talking to each other is the first step to helping prevent local crime”
