Two men arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a block of flats in Peterborough have been released without charge.

An 18-year-old and a 22-year-old were both arrested on Friday, January 8 following the blaze in Tansor Garth, Westwood.

The fire started at about 7am on the same day, and a baby and a person in a wheelchair were among eight people rescued from the building.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the fire. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
