Men to face weapons trial after Peterborough aggravated burglary

Three men appeared in court charged with an attempted aggravated burglary in Princes Street in Peterborough.

Faustas Mackevicius, (21), of Whittlesey Road in Stanground, Aidias Levan, (25), of Francis Road in Birmingham and Erikas Idzelis, (28), of Francis Road in Birmingham appeared at Peterborough Crown Court on Tuesday. They were all charged with attempt aggravated burglary, affray, possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and three counts of possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid/gas/electrical incapacitation device. Mackevicius is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon. They entered not guilty pleas to all charges, and were remanded ahead of a trial in October.
