A number of people arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Ramsey 20 years ago have been bailed by police.
seven of the eight people arrested yesterday morning (January 6) in connection with the Andrew Bedford cold case have been released on police bail.
Six were released on conditional bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on April 7, while the 45-year-old man from Letchworth, Hertfordshire, was bailed to return to the same police station on April 4.
A 56-year-old man from Southampton remains in custody.
Andrew was last seen on September 28, 1990, in Factory Bank, off Great Whyte, Ramsey. Detectives believe he was killed later that evening with a shotgun at a garage which no longer exists in Ramsey called Mongrel Cars.
Operation Ongar was re-launched on April 10 last year by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.
