Man sufferes knife wound in Spalding fight

A man suffered a 10 inch knife wound on his neck after a fight in Spalding.

The fight started at about 10.50pm on Saturday, June 20 on Vine Street, Spalding, at the junction with Abbey Passage at the rear of Hills Furniture Store.

The fight involved four men and during the incident, one of the men received a 10 inch knife slash wound to his neck.

DI Dave Rimmer said: “Thankfully the wound was relatively shallow and the male was later released from hospital following treatment., but I am very concerned about what could have happened in this incident. I would urge anyone who may have seen this incident, or has any information about it, to come forward”
