Police are investigating a stabbing in Peterborough city centre last night.

Officers were called to St Mark’s Street, near the Citizen’s Advice Bureau at about 2am this morning (Friday).

A police spokesman said a man, aged in his 20s, had suffered serious injuries, but they were not life threatening. He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.

A cordon has been placed at the scene, and scenes of crime officers are carrying out investigations.
No arrests have been made.
