Man seriously injured after being dragged along Peterborough street by car

A man has been seriously injured after being dragged along a Peterborough road by a car this morning, Sunday April 24.

An altercation took place just after midnight near to Barclays Bank on Lincoln Road.

The victim was speaking to the occupants of a dark coloured vehicle when it drove off dragging him along the road.

The man has been taken to Addenbrookes hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Officers investigating would like to hear from anyone who saw this incident take place or who may have further information.

A man in his 20s has been arrested and is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood police station.
