Man seriously hurt after wooden baton attack in Whittlesey
A man was assaulted with a wooden baton and a woman was assaulted in the face after an argument broke out in Whittlesey.

Police were called at 1.30am on Saturday to reports of violence in Drybread Road which was subsequently cordoned off.
The man who was assaulted, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital in a serious condition, police said.
A force spokeswoman added: “No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.”
