Man from Peterborough charged with rape by detectives investigating attacks on sex workers

A man is due to appear in court today (Monday, October 8) charged with rape.

Raimondas Nyderis (26) of Harris Street, Peterborough, is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning.

He is charged with raping a woman in the early hours of Sunday, September 23.

He was arrested and charged by detectives investigating a series of attacks on sex workers in Peterborough.

Detectives continue to investigate other attacks on Tuesday (September 25) and Thursday (September 27).
