Man charged with possession of a knuckle duster near Peterborough bank
A man is due in court today for breaching a deportation order and being in possession of a weapon in a public place.
Djibril Djalo, 32, of no fixed address, was arrested on Saturday afternoon in Lincoln Road, Peterborough, after a member of the public called police about violence and suspected weapons being involved near to NatWest bank.
He has since been charged with being in possession of a weapon in a public place, namely a knuckle duster, and breach of a deportation order.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 13 July).
