Cambridgeshire police issued a warning on Thursday that 14 burglaries had taken place in Wisbech over the past two months.
On Saturday morning a man was arrested for burglary in the Wisbech area.
Police said he was last night charged with a number of burglaries.
He has been remanded and will appear in court on Monday.
