Man charged over historic child abuse at Cambridgeshire football club.
A man has today been charged in connection with an investigation into historic child abuse allegations related to football in Cambridgeshire.
Eric Cooper, 81, of The Shade, Soham, has this morning, Tuesday May 2, been charged with two counts of indecency with a child between 1968 and 1970.
The charges relate to one boy.
Mr Cooper is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
